As 1-10 Colorado looks to avoid its worst winning percentage since a winless 1890 season, and its first winless home slate since 1920, the Buffaloes could be without its top running back for the 2012 finale this weekend.
Christian Powell suffered a concussion during the latest loss last Saturday and did not return. As a result of the lingering effects of the injury, the Denver Post reports, the true freshman is doubtful for the Utah game.
Despite it being his first season at this level, Powell’s 691 yards and seven rushing touchdowns are far and away tops on the team.
