I agree..UGA's defense is better and I won't stop there..LSU and Florida's defense are better. Maybe even S. Carolina with that awesome D-Line. People are buying into the 'Bama hype which is just crazy. I watch a lot of football and have for years...'Bama is a team that has already peaked..got exposed against LSU and lost to a not so good A&M team. 'Bama had a great Defense last year..but that team is in the NFL now...UGA's defense will be in the NFL next year...just look at the depth charts..there isn't many players on 'Bama's D that would start for UGA...this is a fact. But alas...it comes down to the headcase Aaron Murray..lol...oh and by the way..Todd Gurley is the only player to rush for over 100 yards against Florida this year....'Bama hasn't seen a back like this all year...the guy weighs 230 lbs.

Stanford has a pretty good defense, and they have five legitmate nfl draftees on that side of the ball who play in the league next year. that was the toughest D that Notre Dame faced all year, and they held on 20-13 in OT, under controversial circumstances.....Georgia's defense is similar to that, all three UGA linebackers will be in the pros next season as well, and I think their defense is better right now than Alabama's.

with Alabama's deep threat on offense, Kenny Bell, going down with a broken leg last week, they will have to modify their game plan...I think thats the third WR they lost for the season, along with three RB's, but thats why they recruit highly ranked players who can step right in.

I bet Notre Dame is hoping that Alabama wins, because I think they match up better vs the Tide than they do against the Dawgs...ESPN is sure hoping its ND vs Bama, because the hype for that game would be unbearable to watch......

Georgia needs to win this game because they have seen all their main rivals(Florida, Alabama and Auburn) win titles recently while they have sat on the sidelines...

I think UGA pulls out the victory here, something like 24-20 and then heads to Miami to play Notre Dame.

808 - dude, you simultaneously crack me up and make me wonder where our society is headed at the same time.

Reality....is what it is. Okay - Notre Dame is undefeated. We get it. They earned a shot to defend their record in the NC game. And I by all means get the fanatic part...Lord knows you've had to wait long enough to brag...the last time ND was relevant Lou Holtz wasn't shooting blanks.

Hell man - go for it I say! Tell us all how great ND is and why they deserve a shot.

BUT - for anyone to crown any team, SEC or independent, more than a month before the game is ludicrous. Having watched every ND game I could get my hands on in the last week (I travel a lot), in my opinion ND will have their hands full from their first possession to the final whistle. I haven't seen them play against one defense this season that remotely resembled Alabama's or Georgia's. Both of these teams have gotten their hiccups out of their system in the season, and when either one shows up in the NC, they will both be ready to play and have something to prove. ND's undefeated record will be nothing more than a target on their back, unspoken smack talk that will motivate the SEC champion far more than any press conference excerpt would ever accomplish.

That being said - here's to a great game this weekend and a great national championship game!

You know its funny how everyone hates the SEC yet every year we have multiple teams in the top 25. Regardless of which team it is we have some fire power. You know why teams in the SEC play soft out of conference schedule its because they stand to play a rank team in their respected division. Stop being sour people don't send your kids to these schools if you don't like em so much, but your child chooses a SEC school over anyone else how can you blame the conference. How bout they come play some of these tough schools, wait Oregon did last year and got blasted, so its the other teams fault not the SEC. To be the best you have to beat the best, no other big school tries to play a viable SEC contender. Last I checked Notre Dame won 12 games this is true, but guess what none were against an SEC school, they tough but not crazy, if they want a shot at a title they better not play the LSU's, Bama's, UGA's,A&M's to name a few. Talking bout Cam Newton let thatsituation die already dude is in the NFL now you think he worried bout how you feel. That money Auburn may or may not have paid for did not play on the field it was a human not money dudes an athlete get over it. He did get paid at his JUCO yet he balled, as he did in Auburn.

Wow! Can't understand the psyche of this guy. Get this, Murray is probably the most prolific passer in SEC history...look as his stats in just 3 years. I won't list them but you can look it up. The point is, this guy melts down in big games. This is why he isn't considered for the Heisman trophy. UGA would have beat Florida by 3 touchdowns if not for Murray throwing 3 consecutive picks in the first half. This is just one example but the main reason everyone is picking Alabama this weekend. He flat out stinks in big games and it's all in his head...that's why he won't talk to the media and he didn't sleep for days leading up to the S. Carolina game.

Shake it off man and just play ball!!!

I think I realized your teams potential in the Pitt game where you should have lost to a .500 team 3 times over.

Congrats on the graduation rate, that’s a good thing. It has nothing to do with football, however.

----------

Awwwwwwww I'm sorry ND pulled out the W.

12-0

#1

"should of lost"

shoulda, woulda, coulda kind of wraps up your season.

now you can put on your georgia or alabama hat after saturday and your season will continue, lucky SEC fans.

fyi ... graduation rate has to do with football, its COLLEGE football. makes sense you would say that tho. SEC teams are NFL platforms, i will admit.

it should be refreshing to see a group of good guys like ND led by Teo make the ship, rather than watch a bunch of kids with no charatcter.

its ok 43 days

one more thing...
rather odd that Alabama has easiest schedule in the SEC West and Georgia has easiest schedule in the SEC East.

hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Not a fan of either team just college Football in general. I believe that Ga can win this game but only IF (that's a BIG IF) Ga offense clicks on all cylinders. Alabama has been there and done it before.(a lot more) And they know how to handle the media and the pressure that comes with getting to the NC. Georgia has not seen victory since 1980. Now that is Pressure. But if the Defense plays lights out and the offense can stay balanced they will win. Like I said that is a BIG IF!! No matter who makes it to the NC ND will be humiliated and I will be a smiles when there EXPOSED!!

I think I realized your teams potential in the Pitt game where you should have lost to a .500 team 3 times over.

Congrats on the graduation rate, that's a good thing. It has nothing to do with football, however.

So AJ McCaron cries …

Aaron Murray isn’t mature enough to handle the media & prepare for a football game? ….

ND can beat these QB’s.

Sorry you couldn't be a part of it LSU.

I think it was the Towson game where I realized your teams potential.

ND is a great team. So annoying that everyone just acts like they aren't.

I will keep talking. I have all season as everyone had to shut up from week to week.

12-0. #1

Hesman. = HeIsManti

#1 in graduation rate 99% (SEC lol, never)

Your just another loud mouth that thinks the SEC is entitled to a win before a game is played.

This will be a great game, #2 v. #3, a semi-final for the BCS NC game. Each team knows the other. If Murray is focused and can connect with his receivers in mid-field and with some longer passes mixed in, UGA has a good chance. It will take an extraordinary effort by the Bulldogs to be there at the end.

Some will say if the Bulldogs play like LSU or A&M but the Bulldogs can't do that, they don't have Manziel or the motivation of the LSU team (and hopefully do not pull out a different defense at the end of the game). It is not to say Alabama cannot be defeated because that has already happened.

Saban is a great coach and he knows a NC is on the line, so he will be prepared. Richt is one year away from the rumors of his demise with great discontent among many Bulldog alums and boosters. I am sure the gainsayers against Richt are now thankful that saner minds prevailed. Richt has very talented position players in both offense and defense.

I think most SEC fans as well as most college football fans will tuned to this game. The winner will be in the BCS NC game and the winning coach will be offered a contract extension and probably a pay raise, though the salaries and bonuses are already up in the stratisphere.

I can't wait for this one. I'm from Louisiana so I'm a Big LSU fan. But, a bigger SEC fan. I think this is going to be one heck of a game.

I'm going to make my pick now. I'm taking GA in this one. I think they have the better QB. Bulldogs 21 Bama 17
