Tyler Bray, Aaron Murray, AJ McCarron, Johnny Football Manziel and Tyler Wilson are better quarterbacks than Tajh Boyd. Boyd goes against horrible defenses in the ACC and racks up numbers. Did you watch the S. Carolina game this past weekend? He looked terrible…if Clemson was in the SEC he would be the 6th best QB in the conference or worse…

Not a Clemson fan or Boyd fan, but does it matter how many points his defense gives up? Does he have any control of that?

You can’t say he plays bad competition and praise his competition in the same breath.

Dude, you have to be dain bramaged to believe that Boyd would start over Wilson or Bray, and I’m sure James Franklin and Tyler Russell would have something to say about that as well. Boyd wouldn’t even start for Northern Illinois fer cryin out loud, and I guess we saw what he did at home…vs. South Carolina.

Naming a QB out of a league that ranks behind the MAC and Big East is a joke.

@houndofthebaskervols my bad I forgot that Mel Kiper’s projection made you a good qb. I hardly think being the qb of a team that is not one of 70 teams going to a bowl game can make you better than a qb who guided his team to 10 wins. I don’t care if you play in the MAC if you can play you can play and Wilson and Bray did not deliver the goods this year..McCarron is a game manager who has the best defense in the country backing him up. Boyd has to try to put up 30 points or his team loses bc his defense is garbage.

This is about the best college players and what they mean to their teams. I totally concur with Tajh Boyd being an All American QB. He is a great college QB and without him their offense would be abysmal. No he will not be an NFL QB in all likelihood but who ever initially thought Doug Flutie would be either.

A special shoutout to IDIOT Lame Kiffin who ran Tajh and other recruits off from Tennessee.

Wow, Tajh Boyd not even in top 5 of Heisman voting… Guess that 8 TD day pushed him over the edge.

Regardless, Manziel is in the lead for the Heisman in the Scripps-Howard Heisman poll, Which has been extraordinarily accurate in predicting the Heisman winner.

Manziel got 8 of 10 first place votes with the other 2 going to Te’o. Klein is way behind but technically still has a chance if he can put up an amazing performance against Texas…

Lets see, Manziel is on the verge of winning the Heisman, Boyd is not. Murray and McCarron are 1/2 in passing efficiency, playing in the toughest conference, and one of these teams is going to the title game…Clemson isn’t even in the ACC championship. Wilson and Bray are projected to go in the 1/2nd rounds, Boyd is not.

I know you Gator fans are dumb, but this has nothing to do with SEC’ism, its just a fact. Sorry. LOL

We all know coaches don’t have the time to look at each players film, some wives and assistants made this list, also with only a limited amount of coaches polled, it is not too indicative of what coaches actually think. Coaches will also vote for their conference and for opponents they played. Seems like a bad way to poll to me.

Tajh Boyd… really? This is so ridiculous I’m practically speechless. This guy would be the 6th best QB in the SEC….first team AA? Oh well.

Anyway, I guess the funniest thing about this is that the genius Lane Kiffin told Boyd {a Fulmer commit} to hit the bricks, then he proceeded to sign a class without a QB, but has also completely disappeared from Tennessee with the exception of 6 guys. Thanks Lane…preeshate the NCAA shit too.
