Tajh Boyd to submit draft paperwork; undecided on future

All-American honors from AFCA is one of the handful of accolades coming Tajh Boyd‘s direction as of late. The Clemson quarterback was named ACC Player of the Year, recognized by the Walter Camp Foundation earlier this month for recording a school-record eight touchdowns against North Carolina State and is one of the finalists for this year’s Manning Award.

Riding that momentum, Boyd is going to file paperwork for the upcoming NFL draft to see what his evaluation will be. Once the evaluation comes back, he plans to sit down with his family to discuss his future. According to Boyd, there’s no round or spot that would sway his decision one way or the other.

As a redshirt junior, Boyd would have one year of eligibility if he returns in 2013.

Boyd is currently fourth in the country in QB rating (168.5) and is 12th in total passing yards (3,550) with 34 touchdowns to 13 interceptions.
