I think it’s hilarious that the “what if” and “if only” bug only bites Clemson fans after they play Carolina.
Along those lines – if Lattimore and Shaw were healthy and playing, Clemson may have mistakenly thought they were playing West Virginia again.

Boyd is a dynamic football player and rightly should be considering his NFL prospects…really hate to see him leave college early but in light of an injury possibility suck as Lattimore’s, can’t blame him at all.

Nice try Jonkybon. You have been berating the Gamecocks all season while hyping your tigers. Four years in a row is not a fluke. What is the tigers best win this year? Ball State? You should take your own advice and just shut up. Clemson made a living off terrible teams this year. The only two teams that they played that were higher caliber teams they got it handed to them. Only losers make excuses.

This draft does not have a rookie year starting franchise quarterback. All of the above mentioned quarterbacks will need a year or two to learn the NFL game and work on their skillset. Starting any of the above mentioned quarterback would be equal to starting David Carr, Alex Smith, Tim Couch, Christian Ponder, or Brady Quinn as a rookie. Do not believe the hype.

You stole my thunder. I was getting ready to post the exact same thing. I too believe he will follow Morris as to staying or going. I too am also ready for the Chad Kelley era to begin if Tajh believes its time to move on.

Just wish the reliable Nuk Hopkins didn’t have hands of stone last Saturday night. Between Nuk and the DB’s dropping three easy int’s, it should have been a very different outcome.

Honestly, I think this decision is based more around Chad Morris. If Morris leaves Clemson, then Boyd would go to the draft. Why would he want to look bad his senior year in a new system that wouldn’t put up the big numbers? Either way, Chad Kelly is sitting in the shadows ready for his turn. I love Boyd and whatever he decides he will be a fan favorite at Clemson. Go Tigers!

Geno Smith, Barkley, Tyler Wilson, and possibly a few others will be ahead of Boyd. No chance he goes top 15. Round 3 or 4 maybe. Could be a steal much like Russell Wilson was.

He had a great year, but like others said, it could end with one play. I hate to see him go… Clemson is a young team packed with sophomores and juniors… if he stayed, they could be really good next year…

But that is what everyone said about Matt Barkley and USC… and look what happened…

Honestly, if I was him, I would go pro if he is listed high enough in the draft…

We will miss him at Clemson…

My guess is he enters the draft. There isnt a Rg3 or a Peyton manning in this years crop of QBs. So he could go anywhere from 1-15 in my opinion.

Not so sure. Who’s the big time, Top 5 college QB prospect in this year’s crop? Barkley? A lot of the shine came off of him this year. Landry Jones? Please. Tyler Wilson? Ehh, maybe. A shot at going in the top 15 or so might be more than Boyd can pass up. Remember Marcus Lattimore….
