Dont know if you are aware but Alford was a 4 star US Army All-American who spurned every other Mississippi school for Southern Miss. The potential is certainly there.

Man, that program really is in trouble. Maybe they should have given Ellis Johnson more time to turn things around. Again, strictly from a football sense, how much worse can a situation get?
