My hats off to UGA. The phantom tipped pass was maybe pay back for missing the bad hit on Murray. ND fans, if you think your team is way better then Georgia, think again. Looking forward to a great, classic bcs title game between two great teams. Roll Tide Y’all!

It really takes away from the game when obvious penalties are not called – the officials truly do their best but they too make mistakes.

Thanks for the congrats. The ball certainly has bounced Bama’s way this year. Not sure how they will hold up against ND – I suspect it too will be a last second type of game. ND is very very talented, and well coached. The only weakness I see in ND is their fans – they truly suck j/k

WingT: You are so right about the holding. I saw it on replay when I came back inside after missing some of the game. I don’t know why some obvious penalties are missed by the best refereeing crew in the SEC?

I thought Miles of LSU was the only coach with clock management problems…ha.

Congratulations to you and to all Alabama Crimson Tide fans! It has been quite a year for the Tide again.

Great game. Too bad one team had to lose. Both coaches need a refresher in clock management.

@ jammers – the offesnse takes what the defense gives them . If ND stacks the box against the run then Bama will move it through the air. Bama is the most balanced team in college.

@southernpats – agree on the hit on Murray, it shoul;d have been flagged. So should the obvious holding on Mosely on about the 6 yard line when Georgia scored.

Perhaps, but no way ND’s offense rolls up 400 yards on the Tide ‘D’, either. It should be a defensive tilt, so those of you whining about how “boring” the national title game was last year, you’re likely to be disappointed again.

mark richt should be flogged for not spiking the ball with about 15 seconds to go. with so much on the line they had enough time to spike it huddle and still have 2 plays. smh.

Where were the officials for this blatant hit helmet to helmet?! Play in slow and see the obvious late hit not called. One would think the SEC would have its best officials in this showcase championship game. A penalty here may have affected the subsequent series.
