He has raised the pride of alumni, boosters have become enthusiastic, the record is reflecting he and his staff’s dedication to excellence, and he is now the most winning football coach in Gamecock history. Combine that with Coach Spurrier says some of the most poignant things from time to time, piquing fellow coaches and teams.

The Ole Ball Coach is good for college football, good for the University of South Carolina, good for his players, and quite entertaining for the rest of us!

Congratulations to the Board of USC in doing what is right. I hope we have many more years of the Ole Ball Coach on the sidelines with the Gamecocks.
