Steve Sarkisian is a very astute coach; he will have a good game plan for the Broncos – knowing that these two teams inaugurate the newly remodeled Husky Stadium next fall. It will be closer than many think; the Huskies have some serious offensive weapons despite their rookie O-line, and the defense is ‘way beyond the sad performance of last year’s track meet with Baylor.

timh1955 isn’t just an SEC fan, that is Tim “Tiny” Hammond, an over the top, pathetic and insecure Alabama fan that trolls any and every sport site to bash on Boise State, even bashes BSU on Alabama blogs. He apparently feels any sort of recognition that the Broncos get is taking something away from his “beloved” Tide. The Huskies do have that signature win over Rose Bowl bound Stanford to hang their hat on, although inconsistency on the road has indeed been their downfall. The Broncos particularly relish smacking down Pac 10-12 teams, with good reason. Ridiculous that Pac 10 expanded with Colorado instead of Boise State, presumably because they offer too much competition. If the Huskies can find their A game it might be worth watching, but honestly look for the Broncos to deliver a swift kick in the mouth, or somewhere. The game is indeed relevant in the Northwest, which is still quite a large geographical area of the country.

Tim you’re so right. This is the worst bowl ever. I mean we’re treated to Rice vs Air Force, Pittsburgh vs Mississippi, Iowa St vs Tulsa and Cincinnati vs Duke. But this HAS to be the worst one. I mean there’s only 1 team in this game that has won multiple BCS games in the past…they’re a joke though and don’t even deserve to field a team. How ignorant are you? You could say that about any game outside of the national camp game…so I fail to see any grain of logic in your statement.

Does anyone give a flip about this game outside of people in Washington and Idaho? Is it even televised? Two meaningless teams that would be beaten by 90% of the teams in college football.
