USC has a good deal of time to prepare for the triple option offense. UGA has done it, even through their very lean years, on a consistent basis. If all boils down to if Kiffin can coach them up, as his DC is gone now. Defense was USC’s really glaring problem area this year, and they did not do well against fast offenses. That should give GT the advantage, but the USC offense should have a banner day against GT’s anemic defense, so it could end up being a high scoring game.
My guess says Kiffin will continue to prove that as a head coach, he is more bluster than good HC material, and GT pulls out a victory, by controlling the game time, which keeps the USC offense off the field, and Techs. defense off the field. If GT doesn’t do that, it could turn into a massacre with USC rolling over Tech. Don’t forget, GT lost to a FCS school, with that same offense earlier in the year and are coming in the game with a 6-7 record.

Gonna be a good game. Like a I said in a previous strory USC defense is gonna have a tough time with that triple option. With that being said gt gonna have problems with lee & woods. This has all the right ingredients for a shoot out. Think USC Oregon earlier this year

Isn’t it a little bit pathetic that you’re rooting for a team to lose and not for your own team to win?

I understand your issues with Lane Kiffin, but why USC? You’re not helping your cause of rooting against USC because they are USC…looks like jealousy to others.

With that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if this game was super close. As the article stated, USC doesn’t care much if they’re not in the Rose Bowl or another BCS bowl.

Nothing wrong with being cocky either. In today’s America, the increase of liberalism has told us that confidence is now arrogance/being cocky. Being proud of your country is now being militaristic/imperialistic. Being religious/spiritual is now homophobic/crazy fundamentalist. And being wealthy isn’t because you have good financial habits, but because you are greedy.

Cocky is better than being passive. Fight On!

I love it! I hope Tech beats them a lot worse than that. USC was SO cocky in August and thought they were the greatest team in the history of college football but they turned out to be pathetic. Couldn’t happen to a better team with the worst coach in college football. He will be gone this time next year and the USC people will see why the SEC hates him so much. The only thing he has done well is he is married to a hot wife.
