They’ll struggle to get anybody who has any other prospects whatsoever. They don’t invest much into the program, empty seats at home games were plentiful even during the Gary Barnett years when they were decent, and football simply isn’t a major part of the culture at CU. It’s kind of crazy it is that way given they won a national title back in the 90s, but popularity for football there went into decline the moment Bill McCartney left and has now bottomed out to where it is now.
