For USF to hire Butch Davis would send the message that USF could care less about academics. Scandal follows him at every turn.

I think Willie T is a fantastic hire. he is a.good coach and I think he will be moving on from USF to a bigger school in a few years. USF has had some good athletes come and go without and good coaching recently. I hope Willie turns it around there and they compete in the big east

Butch was a Jimmy Johnson disciple. Jimmy brought him from UMiami to the Dallas Cowboys with him waaaaaaay back in 1989. Time flies.

USF just hired Willie Taggart.

Too bad, Davis is a quality coach. Could be a steal for someone.
