LOL! I think though, that Jonky ACTUALLY believes it is ME who has more than one screen name. If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny! But the poor guy is a registered "sickola" in need of dire help. And, of course you are correct re. Marcus playing in 2010 against Clemson. If you haven't read some of Jonky's posts regarding Coach Spurrier, I suggest you do. Jonky has our Hall of Fame Coach as the Devil himself! This is the type of individual who should not have a gun.

No - This is the only screen name I have...it's honestly the only one I need to metaphorically and verbally club you like a baby seal. Were I to use more than one the UN would probably step in.

I understand your desire to erase Lattimore's 2010 performance against Clemson from your memory, but, alas, like last year's Mountaineer game, it actually did happen. But, that's okay. There's always this year's "gimme" bowl game with LSU.

I think instead of game film I am going to watch "Deliverance" and get a good idea of how the game will play out.

By the way - cans and bread should never be bagged together!

Thank you for your comments, you always show the world how uneducated and hateful some clemson fans can be.

FYI, the only reason Dabo is your head coach is because he is a good recruiter. He is not a good play caller (I have heard this from multiple clemson fans as well)

I'm not a Clemson hater but listening to fans like you, it really makes me laugh at their misfortunes.

A hell of a player and a total class act. I’m glad Clemson will not have to play him again but I wish he hadn’t got hurt. He deserved to be a first rounder but will probably see some slip due to this injury. Good luck Marcus.

You do realize he has never played a single down against Clemson?

But you are correct in that he did deserve to be a first round pick. Unfortunately, he may not even get drafted. It's a shame.

Did you notice the tweet Matt Rolin was forced to make after decommitting from SC? He actually had to scold the Cock faithful about vulgarity.

Can't blame the guy. He has suffered two severe injuries & he has decided not to take the chance on having another before he cashes in on an NFL paycheck. Had he been healthy, he would've been a first round pick, probably the first back taken. With the injury, he'll probably slip to the 4th or 5th round to a team that has a stable corp of RBs so Lattimore can take off 2013 if need be. When he is healthy, however, he could be a workhorse, sole back. Coming off 2 severe injuries & being successful in the NFL isn't unheard of. Frank Gore had 2 ACL injuries in college & he has put together a productive NFL career. Additionally, McGahee had that horrific knee injury in the BcS Championship Game & is a stellar pro RB. Advances in medical science & rehabilitation medicine allows players to have productive careers after suffering injuries that would've ended careers 15-20 years ago. I wish the kid luck & I really enjoyed watching him play when he was healthy the past 3 years.

Wish him nothing but the best... He was one of the few players in college ball that I would have to watch if on TV.

I still remember his Fr. year against the Gators in the swamp when he carried the ball ~40 times. Spurrier knew what he had and decided to try and drive him into the ground with ~ 280 touches, which is an insane load for any guy in college, let alone a Frosh in the SEC.

Question, why is everyone talking about his draft stock is related to his combine performance? Are you talking about his team interviews? The dude won't be on the field as the draft itself will only be six months after the injury, well unless he is Superman.

The reasons he is going to get drafted is Willis McGhee, All Day and the fact he has shown to be a very capable runner. Hell maybe Rosenhaus can get drafted in the first round, doubt it and expect 3 (if some reaches) to 5 round (someone will draft the talent by here as its hard to get good NFL talent this late)

Thanks. I've been trying to do a little therapy on these threads with Jonkybon, but it is a slow, arduous, task! It's akin to communicating with Helen Keller in her early years....

@houndsofthebaskervols

I will never forget the great sportsmanship, respect, and admiration the Tenn Volunteers demonstrated on the field after Marcus Lattimore was injured. That's the kind of class found at UTenn and the rest of the SEC. Well done and that is something Derek Dooley can be proud of. He too deserves another chance somewhere.

@jonkybon

Your lack of intelligent and informed comments is only exceeded by your obvious need to feed your perceived self importance. Your self esteem is directly tied to the misfortunes of your vastly overrated clemson tigers. I can only imagine the pain and anger that you must feel as you have time and time again promoted your tigers as being one of the elite programs in the country to only watch in horror as they fail time and time again. And to make matters worse, in your case, the team and coach you hate the most owns and dominates your beloved but overrated tigers constantly. What is it now four years in a row? Maybe if you accepted that clemson will never be more than a good football team in a very bad, and getting worse, conference, you can then begin to enjoy life and gain a new perspective. Anyone, such as you, that allows clemson to dictate how they view life is bound for bitter and constant disappointment.

Well as one individual claims, I do not like the Ole Ball Sack. He is a piece of sh^t!!! Ding, ding, ding, he's finially correct about something!

When his team win big games, he gives himself the first game ball.

When his team loses, he throws his players under the bus. After the loss to LSU Ball Sack actually told reporters his QB, Shaw, must have had brain damage.

He takes credit for other peoples efforts and blames everyone except himself for failures.

BTW, look at footage of all three of Lattimores season ending injuries, the Ole Ball Sack is no where near his player. Funny, because during the Clemson game he was between the hash marks on three different occaisions with the play clock running.

I'm not a Lattimore fan per se, or a South Carolina fan, but I do admire him. Having come back from one brutal injury to compete at 100%, does anyone (haters excluded) seriously doubt he can do it again? Think Willis McGahee.

I'm rooting for Marcus, but I think the scenario one previous post made, makes the most sense: he may go late or undrafted, someone will pay him a more than reasonable salary to rehab for an entire year, then evaluate what they've got. Think about it... low risk for the team, opportunity for Lattimore to still fulfill his dream.

#cometkazie, "no thanks" to the bet offer. I'm guessing he finishes the degree too. I don't know him, but by all accounts, he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that doesn't have a Plan B, or even a Plan C, to fall back on. He seems too level-headed for that. I hope an NFL team gives him a shot though.

Many factors will go in to how high he is drafted.

First: how if at all he preformed in the combine

Second: Joe Schad's report stated that he would leave college to focus on full-time rehab, possibly at the NFL level or with a particular NFL team... What team takes him in w/o a contract?

Third: After rehab is complete, at what level is he going to be able to compete? and for how long...

All of these are "down the road" questions and non of us have foresight to the answers....

depending on these Factors, GameCock & Lattimore fans (myself included) will have to consider the possibility that he may go as late as the 9th round or even go undrafted... those legs are a big risk.

P.S. @jonkybon... I thought i told you to stop talking about USC, our Coach, or our players, on real blog sites.

Why cant you just be content with being a Sandusky Pen-Pal and leave us alone.

Some have criticized me for going after this person who so hates Coach Spurrier. Per the comment above, nothing could be further from the truth. Coach Spurrier cares about each and everyone of the players and support staff that have been under his tutelage. He hates the Coach and the school because the school he roots for, Clemson, has been dominated by South Carolina the last four years.
Some team in the NFL will take a chance on Lattimore, but how early he will be selected will have a lot to do with his combines. Successful ACL surgeries are a lot more common these days and ML has always had a great work ethic.

Marcus Lattimore will never go hungry or be without a roof over his head. The alumni at Carolina will always find a place for great people who served the University well and he is one of those folks. Ask George Rogers. If he is physically limited to play in the NFL, there are a number of career possibilities for this Student/Athlete.
