FYI, the only reason Dabo is your head coach is because he is a good recruiter. He is not a good play caller (I have heard this from multiple clemson fans as well)

I still remember his Fr. year against the Gators in the swamp when he carried the ball ~40 times. Spurrier knew what he had and decided to try and drive him into the ground with ~ 280 touches, which is an insane load for any guy in college, let alone a Frosh in the SEC.

The reasons he is going to get drafted is Willis McGhee, All Day and the fact he has shown to be a very capable runner. Hell maybe Rosenhaus can get drafted in the first round, doubt it and expect 3 (if some reaches) to 5 round (someone will draft the talent by here as its hard to get good NFL talent this late)

I will never forget the great sportsmanship, respect, and admiration the Tenn Volunteers demonstrated on the field after Marcus Lattimore was injured. That’s the kind of class found at UTenn and the rest of the SEC. Well done and that is something Derek Dooley can be proud of. He too deserves another chance somewhere.

When his team win big games, he gives himself the first game ball.

When his team loses, he throws his players under the bus. After the loss to LSU Ball Sack actually told reporters his QB, Shaw, must have had brain damage.

He takes credit for other peoples efforts and blames everyone except himself for failures.

BTW, look at footage of all three of Lattimores season ending injuries, the Ole Ball Sack is no where near his player. Funny, because during the Clemson game he was between the hash marks on three different occaisions with the play clock running.

I’m rooting for Marcus, but I think the scenario one previous post made, makes the most sense: he may go late or undrafted, someone will pay him a more than reasonable salary to rehab for an entire year, then evaluate what they’ve got. Think about it… low risk for the team, opportunity for Lattimore to still fulfill his dream.

I don’t know him, but by all accounts, he doesn’t seem like the kind of guy that doesn’t have a Plan B, or even a Plan C, to fall back on. He seems too level-headed for that. First: how if at all he preformed in the combine

Second: Joe Schad’s report stated that he would leave college to focus on full-time rehab, possibly at the NFL level or with a particular NFL team… What team takes him in w/o a contract?

Third: After rehab is complete, at what level is he going to be able to compete? and for how long…

All of these are “down the road” questions and non of us have foresight to the answers….

depending on these Factors, GameCock & Lattimore fans (myself included) will have to consider the possibility that he may go as late as the 9th round or even go undrafted… those legs are a big risk.

Some have criticized me for going after this person who so hates Coach Spurrier. Per the comment above, nothing could be further from the truth. Coach Spurrier cares about each and everyone of the players and support staff that have been under his tutelage. He hates the Coach and the school because the school he roots for, Clemson, has been dominated by South Carolina the last four years. I think most of you understand what he’s all about.

Potentially Lattimore was a top five pick, now I question if he’ll even be selected on day two. I hope the Jets take a chance on ML with a fourth or fifth round pick.
