I smell a UNC fan afraid of CHANGE! Oh no, I guess that means the UNC might actually have some real basketball competition if they join the B1G! Look here you elite wannabe putz, UNC isn’t any better than USC (translate to THE University of South Carolina) or virtually any of the other SEC schools. You have a football program that has experienced some real serious academic cheating scandals and is on probation. You have never been relevant in the most important revenue generating sport (football, jackweed) and probably won’t be for awhile.

One last thing: listen to Paul Feinbaum on Serius Radio and try and learn a little something! Jim Delany is a UNC grad and will go out of his way to make life tough for the ACC after what Notre Dame did! Can you follow that? Have someone read this post to you!

SC was irrelevant before Spurrier and they’ll be irrelevant again – as soon as he gets tired of all the stoopid questions.

UCincy’s bid to join the ACC is the same as its earlier transition to the Big East: a basketball move designed to up its hoops profile. The decimation of BE by the ACC is defeating the purpose of that, so that’s why they want to join the ACC. Problem there is, the ACC is now also a conference in turmoil, and could become soon what the BE already is: a dead conference walking.

Why would Urb want an ACC team in the same state, just down the road? Upping Cincinnati’s recruiting profile is not in the best interest of Ohio State in terms of locking up all the quality in Ohio. Cincy in the ACC may help siphon off some of the depth that the Buckeyes will have on the roster, and quite possibly a some starters. Not saying it WILL happen, just that why would he even want to allow for the possibility to occur?

(Note: I’m NOT mashing on anyone else’s conference or making arrogant fanboy statements about OSU at all.)

The ACC will eventually be chopped up and frankly, I cannot wait. Football rules the roost, and there are only a few football centric schools in that conference and many “wanna-be’s”. According to Feinbaum, UNC will eventually be a B1G school. Duke will cry like a a lil bitz. But like someone said on another post: eat a cookie, everything will be all right.

Urban pitching Cincy to the ACC would have gone over like a lead balloon. The BIG10 is the main conference in the process of slicing up the beleaguered ACC.
