I don’t want to pick knits, but I believe Auburn won a Natty, and if Auburn can win a Natty, A&M sure as hell can, now that the University of DeLoss can’t skew the playing field against A&M anymore.

That being said, best wishes to KK. He killed my team as a QB under Leach. I hated him. Much respect, I hope he does well. I wouldn’t bet against him.

If Tech can continue to shore up their defense, they have the athletes to compete with the big boys in the big 12 and can get that program in the upper half of the conference again.

rsmeans…you think 9 of the 12 sec schools are better jobs than all 10 of the Big 12 schools? dude, you have been smoking some of the washington st or colorado weed, or havent taken your medicine……the only marquee jobs in the sec, and the only place you can win a NC are at Alabama, LSU, and Florida. Texas A&M, Georgia and South Carolina are in the next tier.

it lines up with the big 12′s marquee jobs, and the only place you can win NC are at Texas and OU…Okie St last year was a once in 10 year squad, so was this years K-State team….TCU is a good job, and Patterson has been in two BCS bowl games and will compete with UT and OU…they open with LSU next season at cowboys stadium.

First off, if you thought that Sumlin would make it to 2012 at UH after 12-0 in 2011, you’re naive.

Second, I don’t see a single post from an Aggie that is upset at Kinsgbury for leaving.

Most Aggies are very thankful for what he’s done in just 1 year, which the effects of will be felt for years to come. The Aggies have nabbed the #1 player in Texas for 2014, just 3 days after they nabbed the #1 player in Texas for 2013.

Ags need to pony up now and buyout Morris, and bring the Aggie back home. As Manziel said on twitter last night, “pay the man, he can straight ball”

I think if Kingsbury surrounds himself with the right people, it’ll more than make up for his lack of head coaching experience. He’ll probably, maybe obviously, act as his own offensive coordinator, so position coaches will be key. He should focus early on, on bringing in the best defensive mind he can get too.

I don’t know him, or really anything about him, but he seems like a good guy that’s getting a shot at a dream scenario. I wish him luck. Maybe more so, we should wish opposing defenses luck. This guy might be the first in FBS history to average 1,000 yards of total offense per game!

All of the teams in the Little 12 are a dying breed with no future chance for a NC. Texas AM will win one soon and he could eventually got an SEC job. Any SEC job except for Kentucky, Tennessee and Vandy is better than the best job in the Little12.

You’re right, they probably should’ve hired Morris but his buyout at Clemson was 6 million. This move also helps both save face and buys more time for the AD Hocutt. He can write off a few losing seasons (if they happen) as growing pains and helps him look like the good guy after the Leach debacle.
