Wisconsin is building an athletic performance center that could be a game-changer.

Wisconsin’s $76.8 million Athletic Performance Center, approved as part of the state’s 2011-’13 biennial budget, has a new design and slightly different location since the project was first made public last year.Groundbreaking is still set to take place in December or January, and the project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2014.

There was an article in june or july ranking B1G facilities. 1 being best and 12 being worst UW squeaked in right in front of Northwestern at #11. seems to be what I have heard as well.

Stop spreading false information. UW Madison has some of the finest state-of-the-art facilities in the country. “From what I’ve heard…” From what you’ve heard where? You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. Admitting that would at least be intellectually honest.

I’m kind of surprised that Tom Bradley’s name hasn’t come up in any of the coaching carousel conversations. Consistently lead/coached some outstanding defenses over the years in the Big 10.

And his name wasn’t mentioned in the Freeh report, and that dude (Freeh) swung at everyone.

I think it will be an up and coming assistant, or a retread like Houston Nutt or Ron Zook. UW is a tough job, aside from o-line, there is little in state recruiting. With the Urban renewal going on at OSU, I see the buckeyes cleaning up the b1g for a while, one again. From what I have read, the facilities are a little behind and they won’t pay assistants. It is going to be hard for W to land a high profile coach.

I would doubt that. National Signing day is approaching very fast. Players will have to decide or stay in early January. This is if course a huge impact on on recruiting.

Plus trying to hire assistants in mid/late January is going to mean you pretty much get the guys nobody else wanted.

And finally, I cannot see Peterson in Wisconsin, he has already turned down or declined to interview for many higher profile jobs.
