Seems right to me, LaTech is the right caliber D1 school for someone like Skip Holtz.

Tech needs to have their heads examined. And Dykes got waayyyy to much credit. This team had 31 seniors, all Dooley recruits. Different story next season. And if you cant win at So. Florida, you cant win anywhere.

Skip has to get rid of Todd Fitch as his OC. Just hasn’t worked out for him. Skip can call his own plays.

No need to bag on Aaron and I think both he and ND might wish he was still there, but Lynch has a heck of a career ahead of him and the young man is entitled to make his personal decisions along with a few mistakes made along the way.

Agreed with thegamecocker. He was terrible at USF, but you can’t ignore his entire resume. USF was likely a little too big for him at this point in his career, and I expect that he’ll probably be solid at La Tech.

Skip did a great job at UCONN and East Carolina. Didn’t have success at South Florida but he deserves to continue to be a highly-paid HC. At least he has never been involved in any scandals or issues off the field. USF was just not a good fit for him and perhaps La Tech will be. Good Luck to Coach Skip Holtz.

Welcome everyone to the “Musical Chairs of College Football Coaches!” Pick a team the coach is fired from, then pick the team that hires the coach! I know it is somewhat of an exclusive fraternity, but this does become ridiculous after awhile.
