Games are won or lost on the field. Being a Gamecock fan, I have witnessed our team playing down to the level of the opponent and getting beat. My sense is because this is a veteran team, we will play well and this will not be the case. Despite what some have said on this blog, Michigan is a solid football team and South Carolina better respect that or we will be upset. They have speed and their line play is improving, albeit with young players. Carolina is a good team this year…but not that good that we should take Michigan lightly. And with no Marcus Lattimore and a gimpy Connor Shaw, the game should be pretty close. The Head Ball Coach and DC Ward will hopefully inspire SC to play to its potential.

Well, South Carolina is well known for playing down to the level of their opponent. Not a crack on South Carolina, just that they have won some ugly ugly games the last few years. On a few occasions such as the UGA game this year, they have came out and blew the doors off somebody but those occasions have been few and far between.
