A receiver who didn’t have much of an impact on Ohio State’s undefeated season, at least statistically, will move on from the program.
An athletic department spokesperson confirmed to the Columbus Dispatch that reserve receiver Verlon Reed (not pictured) has left the team in what was described a “mutual parting.”
Reed had one catch for 13 yards in the first game of the season against Miami (OH) and was used mostly on special teams. A three-star athlete in Ohio State’s 2010 recruiting class, Reed suffered a season-ending ACL injury last year when he was a starting wide receiver.
There’s no word yet on where Reed will go next.
I don’t know Ben… looks a lot like him to me…
…but hey… bucknuts all look the same to me.
Polegojim,
I’m sure you would know…
Because you have had many on your chin!
He gets to keep the free tattoos as a parting gift.
