APMichigan has one of the iconic uniform-helmet combinations in college football.
But that hasn’t stopped the Wolverines from revealing special uniforms for this year’s Outback Bowl against South Carolina. The changes aren’t too over-the-top. If anything, they resemble the unis U-M wore for the season opener against Alabama, but with heavier blue accents instead of maize.
Anyway, here they are from Michigan’s website:

They don’t seem that offensive, and if the players like them, that’s all that really matters.

I’ve never seen them get drummed in these Uni’s before. Now I’m looking forward to this game.
As long as they keep the greatest helmet design in the history of football, I’m ok with it.

Adidas would give them “special uniforms” if they were playing in the “No one Cares Bowl.”
This is just another excuse for the university to make money without paying the players.
People need to rebel and stop falling for the same lie in new packaging.

FSU has already won the inaugural “best helmet in college football” award voted on by readers of espn.com so the “debate” is over. Just like the 51-31 stomp down we put on the maize n blue in Ann Harbor. That was a while ago but we’d love to play u snow shovelers from up north anytime. Maybe you’ll come south this time????

You’d be surprised… If you don’t think that Oregons never wearing the same uni twice isn’t a recruiting advantage you’re naive.
Kids love that stuff. Reporters said that when the Aggies walked into the locker room before the Miss St. game ans saw the black unis and custom painted helmetsm they were as amped as they’d ever seen them. Us older people tend to hate it and love the traditional uniforms we grew up watching. I personally like seeing the uniforms “refreshed” I particularly love the matte finish an the helmets. I have come around with the uniforms too.
I keep getting confused with this bowl game. Not sure when they say, “Go Cocks” if they are talking about Michigan or SC.
