APCentral Michigan is getting some bad news with the Little Caesar’s Pizza Bowl just two days away. On Monday, the university announced that three wide receivers – Titus Davis, Defarrel Davis and Courtney Williams — would miss the game against Western Kentucky for violating team policy.
“Our student-athletes operate in accordance with an established code of conduct, and they are held accountable for upholding those standards,” CMU athletic director Dave Heeke said in a statement. “We are looking forward to a great bowl experience for our program and fans and a great game against Western Kentucky.”
Titus Davis is the team’s leading receiver 860 yards and eight touchdowns, with Williams being third on the team with 260 yards and a pair of scores.
Ouch! I have CMU in my bowl pool.

I know I was an idiot when I was in college, and half the crap I pulled off should have landed me in an overnight lockup (the Statute of Limitations ran already, didn’t it?). But I was certainly no high-profile athlete either… at least not after my alarm clock went off. Can’t these clowns behave themselves? Now you miss out on one of the rewards for all the hard work you put in. For what? Acting stupid? Congratulations. You let down your coaches, your teammates, and your family and fans.

My son-in-law got his undergrad degree from CMU.
All we hear everyday is so and so is out of the bowl. Gee you think these guys are getting word from their agents – guys who talk to their dads and moms, to not risk playing and getting hurt and ruining your pro career.
Go get stoned or miss practice and you too can sit out a bowl that means nothing and still be healthy for the draft.
Sounds like the Pro bowl. Who the hell wants to tackle and get their ass kicked for a nothing meanignless game. Why get an achiles injury and miss the entire year. Screw it.
