Sophomore RB one of two more ‘Cuse players suspended

Last week, JT noted that Syracuse linebacker Marquis Spruill would miss “a significant portion” of this weekend’s Pinstripe Bowl against West Virginia. As it turns out, Spruill isn’t the only Orangeman (for you nostalgic types) to face disciplinary action for the game.

Cuse coach Doug Marrone announced in a statement Tuesday that running back Adonis Ameen-Moore (pictured, No. 34) and tight end Max Beaulieu have also been suspended for violating team rules.

So, uh, Merry Christmas?

Of the two, Ameen-Moore is the bigger loss (although neither is particularly devastating). The sophomore rushed for 108 yards and five touchdowns on the year. Beaulieu appeared in only one game this season.
