Rutgers inability to keep their players from leaving early is a big reason why they will never be a top notch program in either the now-defunct Big East or the Big 10. You need seniors who are top NFL prospects to lead your team, but if they’re leaving after their junior years, you’re missing out. Rutgers needs to be a program that entices their players to stay all 4 years & frankly, I don’t know how they can do that – they have nothing persuasive to use.
