I think that Lynch is a good athlete and decent QB but his numbers and his “Heisman Worthy” season are a fraud. The dude played the easiest schedule in FBS and thats not hyperbole. The actual easiest schedule in all of FBS.

You put NIU up against a real team and really good defense and you see how inept him and this offense can be. NIU was totally outclassed out there, especially on offense. Give their defense credit for keeping it close early, but a team like NIU doesn’t have the depth to go into the 4th qtr with a team like FSU.

Lynch was good against, not good teams. I’m a Chicago area resident, and enjoy local success; and, was looking forward to Lynch showing his abilities against FSU, who I have never liked. Lynch did NOTHING. He was terrible, and should forget about his so-called passing/running records from this season. He proved to a National audience that he cannot play against BCS teams, and his personal success was meaningless.

Lynch was a complete no show! Not only did he miss just about every pass – he couldn’t figure out that his QB draws were not working! He may be all that in the MAC – but he stunk bad on the big stage!

FSU has won four straight bowl games vs. s. Carolina, WV, ND and lame Orange bowl matchup this year.

FSU has been back. ACC champs this year and next will contend for national champ again.

NFL FACTS are… Tebow is an average to subave QB. That’s not conjecture, it’s proven and duly noted by…. just about everyone.

Back to my point… Lynch could be a very talented football player… just not a NFL QB… Like Tebow.

Well, Jordan Lynch, he isn’t “horrible”. The situation he was in was probably closer to horrible. Not a great matchup. As much as some of us like to pull for the underdog, this just wasn’t gonna happen. A brave effort, but FSU had this covered. They sure as hell should, given all the 4 and 5 star players on the roster. NIU did what they could, but playing Louisvile WOULD have been a better bowl game, and not part of the BCS.

NIU’s offensive scheme was horrendous. When totally overmatched you might come up with something more creative that the QB taking a direct snap and running into the line of scrimmage. It was terrible to watch.

I don’t think Lynch is a bad QB. He’s pretty good, in fact. NIUE was just overmatched all over the field, especially in the trenches.

The only thing horrendous here is your comparison of lynch to tebow. Fact is, tebow tore up fsu’s defense every year he played them. Please let us know when lynch has 2 NCs and a Heisman trophy. Better yet, let us know when Jordan lynch STARTS in the NFL as a QB and wins a playoff game with the most PASSING yds in NFL history. I’ll give you a break since you’re probably a little bitter after yet another year of the B1G conference stinking it up in the bowl season.

NIU deserved a major bowl but not BCS. Lot of crappy bowls because of conference tie-ins. OK ST deserved a major bowl. Louisville deserved a bowl reflecting their ranking, but not BCS. Now Louisville-NIU, that might be a good game.

Their scheme of using Jordan Lynch as their offense would never work aganist a team with good speed on their defense as exemplified in the game aganist FSU.

The confidence shown by this young man from the state of Florida is the confidence shown as the Sunshine State ability to have players with speed and confidence in their ability.
