Unfortunately, a return trip from Alabama’s BCS championship win over Notre Dame resulted in a serious crash involving UA students and cheerleaders with one person seriously injured.
Per the AP, an Alabama spokesperson said the injured student was riding with three other students in a pickup truck crashed with a charter bus carrying 31 people. A third car was involved in the wreck as well. So far, it sounds as though only one person, the unnamed student, was hurt in the wreck. That student is currently listed in stable condition.
The crash happened Tuesday night in Montgomery, Ala. The four students in the truck were not traveling with the charter.
Alabama defeated Notre Dame Monday night 42-14.
Terrible! I hope everyone recovers.
Diddo
A similar incident occurred with the Notre Dame bus, but after some initial contact the truck effortlessly passed right through the bus and continued on its way.
But seriously, thank God everyone is either alright or in stable condition.
Here’s to hoping for a speedy recovery and no long term damage.
Great way to go out.
Is it just me or does the sentence, “Alabama defeated Notre Dame Monday night 42-14″ at the end of the story seem a little out of place?
