OK wing-nut, Gardner’s roll-outs….yes, I watched the game, the whole game, and nothing but the game! So help me G-d! Now get lost.

I don’t consider my post “trash talking”. Clowney was double-teamed the majority of the game and Robinson’s roll-outs we’re away from Clowney. Lewan is a terrific pro-prospect and excellent D-1 college player. He played Clowney as well as could be expected and played. A fine game. The timing of the HIT, coming on the next play after the blatant erroneous first down call by “STEVIE WONDER”, changed the ultimate outcome of the game. Clowney would have been the first player selected in the NFL draft this year and will be next years sans an injury.

The play where he blew up Smith was plain and simple a missed assignment by the TE Aaron Williams. The play was supposed to be a run to the left and to the outside of Clowney. The TE blocks down and to the inside on the DE, and the LT does not engage the DE and instead moves immediately to the “2nd level “and blocks and turns the Strong side LB. Taylor did his job on that play, the TE did not.

Give Clowney credit for exploiting that play and making that amazing tackle in the backfield on Smith.

Your trash talking is cute, but you might as well get the score right. It was 33-28. Also, if you consider the devastating numbers that Clowney put up this season plus the fact that Clowney would likely go number 1 overall in the draft this year, I would say that Lewan had a pretty good game.

Even the announcers were saying that Clowney had been more or less invisible prior to that play. I wouldn’t expect you to notice this though since you only watched the highlights and not the game or the film.

Lewan “owned” Clowney?…I wonder if the Michigan RB Smith agrees with that? I doubt it! Smith is lucky his helmet was the only thing he lost! Jadeveon Clowney was double- teamed all game. And that includes when Michigan ran away from his side! 35-28….read it and weep!
