Wow thaoption1 must be really insecure to post three times about how bad a really talented player is with no facts or insights to back up his statements. I’m definitely not sold on Boyd in the first round but I can’t think of anyone that would be ahead of him in the quarterback position. I figure mid second round someone is gonna take a gamble on a QB. Boyd is accurate and mobile. He’s got the size and the Chick-fil-a bowl proved he can take a hit and keep on going. If you’re a first round talent…. you’re dumb to come back. I’ve said it over and over.

Not sure if Boyd was a first round guy though, so maybe coming back is a good idea. He’s for sure going to be at the top of most Heisman lists.

With that schedule though, not sure how legitimate a NC threat the Tigers are.

Honestly I thought he had a legit chance to be the first QB taken this year…he put his team back and willed his team to victory over a very stout LSU team. That gets my vote for guttiest performance of the season.

If Hopkins does come back, Clemson will be loaded big time on offense with Boyd, Hopkins and Sammy Watkins….Clemson does have to play Georgia in their first game, along with their ACC schedule and south carolina in columbia, but with those three back, they can continue momentum from their 11-2 season this year.
