I would have preferred Klif. That being said, Tony was left with a weak supporting staff and therefore didn't really get to maximize what organizational abilities he has. We have to give him another year to right the ship, to show that he can or cannot get the job done. A&M has taken the oxygen out of the "Room", in regards to recruiting.....It will be interesting to see what recruits Tony can attract to the school,

I totally agree 8to80...Living in Houston, the Coogs were in disarray when the rumors about Sumlin going to A&M started, so much so, that they lost the C-USA title game to Southern Miss at home, a game that would have put them in the sugar bowl at 13-0 had they won.

I think AD Mark Rhodes wanted a smooth transistion, and instead of picking a "UH man" in Jason Phillips, he went with this clown Levine and he has managed to mismange the Cougars so far.

He had David Piland at QB, who threw for 2800 yards in his true freshman year in 2010 in only 7 games, and also had Charles Sims at RB, and 7 defensive starters coming back....

Piland was eventually benched(bad coaching) Sims was hurt most of the year and the defense went from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and they were awful up the middle....Hopefully they will do better in 2013, but to go from 13-1 down to 5-7 was a disgrace.

I give Tony Levine one more year, and if doesnt go at least 7-5 or better, he may be the next one out of a job.

I love how they used a mini helmet instead of a real helmet for the picture.

Coogs hit a homerun with Art Briles... then made it back to back homers with Kevin Sumlin.

Levine might have been a strike out.

Plus its hard to follow in the footsteps of Kevin Kolb and Case Keenum.
