Don’t worry. Even if it isn’t true, there are several things to slam USC’s program and their pathetic, mediocre head coach over.

Jersey switches, deflated footballs, recruitment gaffes, lying about your preseason vote…

… oh, and your colossal failure of a season.

I’m glad all the USC fans seem to love having Kiffin as your head coach. Don’t worry, every other football fan loves that he’s your coach as well.

Enjoy mediocrity and shame! It’s only going to get better (and funnier) under Lane Kiffin.

As a fan of a rival Pac-12 team (Washington), I plan to make a sizable donation to USC with the stipulation that all the proceeds be used to retain Kiffin at whatever cost. I encourage other Pac-12 fans to do the same. Kiffin is the gift that keeps on giving.

Funny Huskie fan, although we sucked this year and lost to any and all teams that where anything, the Trojans still rolled you guys. You have no place to churp here.

In fact, perhaps next year, once Lane gets launched, Haden will come to your place and take your coach away. I heard he is ready to return home, it’s only a matter of time. Garrett should have hired Sark in the frst place.

Unfortunately the media nor the public care very much about sources or facts this early in the story. It’s later in the chapters that counts and you can pick this book up practically anywhere. Just google LANE KIFFIN SUCKS. Should be the first choice!

I’m not discounting that this sounds pretty in line with the way the season went… but Wolf is sort of a tabloid writer. I would like to see other sources confirm. I would mostly just like for the team to come out next year and shut people up with their play though.

The story is probably true but I still always laugh when CFT bases its story off of anything Scott Wolf says. Of all the reporters that cover USC Scott Wolf is the least accurate. Anyone who follows USC laughs at this guy.

So the question is who do you want to believe. Matt Barkley who was actually in the locker room and said all this amounted to were some heated remarks or a reporter (Scott Wolf), who has a rep for creating scurrilous reports on USC football and was banned from attending USC practices.

If this happened at all (the degree of which depicted I doubt) it was more than two weeks ago. This decreases the credibility of the story however the USC/Kiffin haters will certainly buy into it.

I guess Pat Haden believes that any publicity for his football program in the off-season is better than no publicity at all.

Keeping the coach through all this is the smartest thing he can do, right? After all, Pat is a Rhodes Scholar.

When Kiffin first came to USC, I would describe the reaction as cautious optimism. After the 2011 season, the optimism outweighed the caution. Now, there is just frustration and despair about the fact that we are stuck with him for at least one more year, and maybe two (if they keep him through the end of the scholarship reductions). Kiffin-haters, you are not telling us anything that we have not already learned ourselves — the hard way.

Where were Kiffin and the rest of his staff while this was all going on? (Possibly still trying to figure out what time the bowl banquet they skipped was supposed to start?)

And can anyone explain how Kiffin made it through this season? The preseason number 1 goes 7-6 (has that ever happened before?) and all that happens is he’s on the hot seat for NEXT season? I’d have thought at bare minimum they’d have considered other candidates, but it seems that the plan was for him to get another season regardless how horribly they played. I don’t understand that at all.

Just be ready Trojan fans to eventually hear about tons of NCAA violations that are occurring right about now as Kiffin tries to save his job. (Because anybody who thinks that Kiffin isn’t going to get them put on probation knows nothing about who Lane Kiffin is.)
