I never said anything about one season. Any college fan will tell you, recruiting is at least half the job for any coach. And, his demeanor did influence his one season.

I was right. Your life is the internet; but your posts don’t make sense, especially this one on the influence of high school coaches on the one season performance of an OC. Also, get out a real dictionary (not your BAMA version) before you try to insult someone.

If you read my comments, I never bash auburn, and wasn’t this time. Long term, coaches need good relationships with HS coaches, for recruiting. Most said he was stand offish, and didn’t interact with them at camps.

That said, I will post where I wish. Regardless of how waded your panties get.

I don’t think the high school coaches have much to do with play on Saturdays when Loeffler only recruited for a few weeks. In fact, a few freshman who were part of a decent recruiting class played very well. Loeffler was at Auburn less than a year, so your “death sentence” does not seem to translate into a bottom of the barrell offense in 2012. You are obviously wishing well to the guy who’s offense scored ZERO points against Alabama. Why don’t you limit your comments to Bama topics; but maybe your life is the internet.

There was a lot of negative press about him after he was fired at AU. High school coaches did not like him, and in Alabama, that’s a death sentence. Best of luck to him going forward

I won’t say that Scot Loeffler performed worse with better players at Auburn because VT has very good talent too. However, his 2012 AU offense performed far worse than VT or anybody in the SEC. It will be interesting to see how he fares in 2013. One thing in his favor is a much easier ACC schedule; but we may get a hint of how much better he is doing after that opener with Alabama.
