#femlefty1, couldn’t agree more. Yeah, C-USA is a nothing conference… unless you’re one of the athletes whose education is being paid for because you’re good enough to go there. I say good for them. Promote what you have. Build the brand. Even better talent will be attracted. That’s how you become an SEC, or a Pac-12, or a Big 10. Good luck C-USA.

College football is just like Pizza – no such thing as a bad serving of it! Yeah, we aren’t discussing the SEC here by any stretch of the imagination, but its still football to enjoy!

Given the current situation, it means that it will be a 13 team league in 2014 – 7 in the East, and 6 in the West. The MAC operates with this set up, so shouldnt be a problem. But when Charlotte joins in 2015, I have to believe they’ll also be in the East. Since 8 in the East and 6 in the west wont be the case, who moves west? Or do they already know that its back to the drawing board for 2015 because Tulsa (and maybe others?) already have a foot out the door to the reconstituted Big East?
