Oh, good grief… Miami has already self-imposed enough on itself… the NCAA needs to just accept the schools self-punishment and close this one already.

That shady character that caused all of this, however, needs to be sued in civil court by all of the people he had dealings with…

The NCAA has obviously screwed up but that doesn’t mean by any stretch of your delusional cane imagination that they won’t still penalize you after this matter gets straightened out. You morons seem to think that bowl game surrendering is enough. WRONG! You will be hammered with the most severe of all sanctions, scholarship reductions. And that, my skinny leg friends, is the mother of all penalties. It’s the one that will keep your sorry program just where it is for many years to come….the crapper.

For years the NCAA was allowed to just make up things and didn’t require any evidence whatsoever in destroying people’s lives and communities sports programs. (ie google Jerry Tarkanian and UNLV)

The NCAA has long acted as a diabolical, fascist, enforcement agency. “Truth, truth, you can’t handle the truth.”

It’s an ironic coincidence that someone with a documented background of irrational bureaucracy like Donna Shalala would now find herself dealing with a situation that goes directly in line with the way her people have always done things.

If the NCAA is consistent, they will end up taking scholarships away, reducing practices, and having the Athletic Director at Boise State fired for students spending too much time sitting in the food court at the local Burger King.

Jeez, I thought the NCAA threats against players was bush league enough, but I am shocked the NCAA actually employed lawyers this dumb.

The COI investigating things actually put Shapiro’s bankruptcy defense attorney *on payroll*. A woman who actively has an interest in bleeding the university. If she can generate the story that the university openly knew about Shapiro’s Ponzi scheme, she can deflect creditors towards the university. What better way to do that than influence a 3rd party into providing said storyline?

We all know players got dinners and drinks (I know, shocking that this happens), and the players/involved parties should be punished accordingly. But dear God, how can the NCAA employ lawyers *this dumb*???
