Jimbo took a 7-6 team to a 12-2 ACC Champion–BCS bowl winning team in three years. I’ll take that kind of progress.

For all the naysayers: Coley is a *sharp* up-and-comer. He’ll be a HC in 5 years IMO.

Saban didn’t bring him from LSU to the Dolphins for his recruiting prowess.

Not as much a huge loss for the Noles as it is a suspect hire by the Canes. They replaced an NFL bound coordinator with a decent recruiter with a very shoddy OC record (see: FIU 1-11 record).

As for the FSU coaching turnover this year–every coach left for more money and a promotion. Success will do that…(see: Alabama and Pruitt, Sunseri, Dooley etc).

Not a good hire for Miami. One year as an offensive coordinator calling plays at UCF or FIU one and that team went 1-11 and had one of the worst offenses in the country. Maybe he was hired for recruiting. He is pretty good at that
