Thats what I understood…..once a grad with eligibility remaining all other restrictions including playing for another conference team are no longer valid. The question then becomes finding a football program at a school with a grad program that OU does NOT have! Ala…Russell Wilson to Wisconsin….

OU will not be able to impose any restrictions in this case as Allen will have graduated prior to moving to another university to work on a Master’s Degree. He will be a college football free agent, so to speak. The only catch is he has to pick some field of study that OU does not offer.

I believe in that rule and wish the SEC would institute it. If they had, the entire Cam Newton matter would have been non-existent. And that means going from a conference school to a Jr. College and back to a school in the same conference. The Big East has this rule and it eliminates animosity between member schools.
