Starting A&M D-lineman suspended after arrest

Well, at least the Longhorns can say they’re not the only Texas school with legal troubles right now?

Continuing the trend of nearly daily arrests that usually accompany the offseason, starting Texas A&M defensive lineman Kirby Ennis was busted Friday night on charges of discharging/displaying a firearm and disorderly conduct, according to the Brazos County justice website. Other details involving the incident are scarce at this time.

The report states that Ennis was arrested at his apartment and later released on $2,000 bond. He was officially suspended from all team activities on Sunday while more details are gathered.

Ennis started 11 games for the Aggies last season as a junior and recorded 24 tackles.
