Dooley seems like a nice guy who was a victim of his own last name. It seems to cause people to offer him jobs he’s totally unprepared for. He certainly wasn’t ready to run a major program on his own but maybe with some actual experience, he will be some day.

I’m not in disagreeance here about LK. It is what it is. He’s got one year left. He either wins, and I mean at least 10 games or he gets launched. My guess is, he’s out of here come December if not earlier. Im just not the kinda a person to sit and bitch about things. SC is my team, and he right now he is the coach whether I like it or not. So I chose to look at things optimisticly rather then bitch and whine about how bad this year was. We all know SC has enough of those type of fans. I’m just not one of them. So until PH makes a change, ill back the guy.

I wouldn’t defend Dooley as a coach. But, he may be a good coach, he may be terrible coach.

The situation that he inherited was bad. Lane will get what he deserves in the end. He can’t coach…he can recruit, but he can’t coach.

Pat Haden knows this of course. But he also knows it isn’t fair to a new coach to have to deal with the effects of sanctions.

So, he lets Kiffin keep stocking the cupboard with talent and he waits for the inevitable demise of the team on the field. The new coach will get a team that has talent.

This is what is happening. Choose to believe or not…Kiffin is a poor coach. He’d make a great recruiting coordinator.

I’m an Alabama fan who happened to watch the train wreck at UT from a distance.

Kiffin is headed nowhere. His gig is up…

The only thing keeping him at USC now is that he can recruit and they need that with the effects of the sanctions hitting.

Haden is going to replace Kiffin after this next year or the following year…and he wants some players in the house for the next guy.

Kiffin is an embarrassment. He walks around like a damn peacock with his feathers always out… and hasn’t done JACK…

FYI, Dooley wasn’t a great coach but he inherited a sack of crap. Roll Tide. And you enjoy your “boy wonder”.

Congrads to coach on the new job, and ur right, Kiffin can’t recruit and I guess 11-2 the year before this last, that’s not very good either. Quit the whining would you.

I don’t agree with the way LK left UT nor enjoy some of the stupid things he continues to do. But he recruited well at UT and brought in good talent, and continues to recruit well.

He and the SC program are in a deep hole and it will be a few more years before they get out of it. Those that can’t stand SC, you keep piling it on now while their are down. It’s all good. We deserve to hear it, but stop all the whining from UT fans, please get over it.

Glad to hear that Dooley landed on his feet. He didn’t achieve the success at TN that would have saved his job. But, he inherited a terrible situation…Lane Kiffin crapped all over that school and somebody had to come in and put it together again.

In hindsight, it would taken one helluva football coach to have succeeded in the situation…and we’ve now seen that Kiffin can recruit…but he can’t coach a lick.

Kiffin got his “dream” job at USC but will get what he deserves in the end.

Best of luck to Dooley and his family. I hope that this new position works out great for him and his family.
