Getty ImagesLate last week, it was reported that Miami running backs coach Terry Richardson would be leaving the Hurricanes for a job with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Al Golden has wasted no time finding Richardson’s replacement.
And he stayed in-house to do it.
In a release on Sunday, Golden announced that Hurlie Brown would take over the spot. Brown has spent the previous two seasons as the senior football operations coordinator. Brown also coached at Louisiana-Lafayette from 2007-10.
Brown was a defensive back on two national championship teams at Miami from
1988-91.
Congratulations Hurlie!
Better watch his back since he is going to be coaching Ray Lewis’s son….
Congrats Hurlie!
