It’s way past time for the NCAA to investigate Alabama’s program because no college can be as successful without cheating and there’s little doubt that Alabama has been cheating it’s way to national championships for too many years.

My daughter was a cheerleader at Arnold High School where Eddie Williams played football. I am very familiar with this kid. This is no surprise. Not that he was an overtly bad kid, he was just allowed to do whatever he wanted to do — drink, smoke drugs, not practice.

Huge talent, no doubt. Seemed to have a supportive family. Things like this are the dividends paid by a culture of privilege. When some rules don’t apply, you begin to think that NO rules apply.

Of course I hope it is all just some kind of misunderstanding–like I said not a bad kid. Unfortunatley this is what happens when the adults who are in charge of preparing you for the future are are too busy exploiting your talents. I’m talking to you, Coach Hale.

But you don’t want to confuse him. His concept of heroes and villains is etched in stone. And you know the people who subscribe to his line of reasoning are ALWAYS right.

How long is it going to take Rev. Al and Jesse Jackson to get down to Alabama to tell everyone what fine and upstanding kids they are?

Haha agreed. Also, it’s too bad Williams wasn’t white, – he’d be a conservative hero for exercising his first amendment rights and “standing his ground” for free gas!

I am sure Saban will take appropriate action–permanent dismissal and the school should do likewise. “Thugs” definitely fits them and they have now tossed a great future away.

These are the types of kids you don’t want around your team….or the campus.
