Maybe Stoops and fans are hoping that Bell will be another Collin Klein. He certainly has the size and running ability. Unfortunately, his passing ability is questionable. Next season will show how much Landry Jones will be missed.

This next year is going to be interesting for OU. I know lots of Sooner fans who are totally convinced that Bell is going to light the world on fire. If that doesn’t come to pass (and I’m betting it won’t) it could have serious repercussions for Stoops even if he does a great job coaching the team.

Stoops wins the Big 12 and fires 3 coaches for underperforming.

Meanwhile, the Longhorns field the worst statistical defense they’ve had in the last 20 years, sign zero defensive linemen, and fire no one.

And the Aggies go 11-2, beat Bama, win the Heisman, and mud stomp OU.

And DeLoss keeps taking potshots at others.

The Big12 is a dumpster fire.

Yeah I would agree. He’s still a helluva HC. Put it this way, OU fans don’t want to revisit the Gary Gibbs, Howarrd Schnellenberger, John Blake eras again. Perspective is usually lost on college football fans. Spooners fans would be crazy to run this guy off.
