Because this hiring proves he was right, Hawkins was a really bad head coach & now is given another chance to prove he can fail at a high level. Just another example of a bad white head coach getting a chance, I’m sure this gives Norv Turner & Bill Callahan hope for the future.

Fairchild was 16-33 with Colorado State, Zorn went 12-20 when he coached the Redskins. So, the three finalists were a combined 47-92 at their prior jobs. Yikes.
