Non-conference schedules are set years in advance. This didn’t just sneek up on them. Seem irresponsible to me to be making these decisions 6 months before the season starts.

Teams are going to play each other to position themsleves for the four team playoff. And, I agree with the earlier post. App state and Michigan should have shown everyone that these FCS schools could be dangerous. If I were SMU I would put this one in the win col just yet. This team isn’t what you might think. Montana State bought them out of their return trip to Fargo this year. Second time NDSU has been burned by MSU like this. Now NDSU is left struggling just to get an 11th game for this year.
