APPurdue and Nevada have announced a two-game series down the road, for those interested in such things.
The Boilermakers will host the Wolf Pack on Sept. 24, 2016, while traveling to Reno three years later on Aug. 31, 2019. The two teams have never played each other.
Assuming that the Big Ten moves to a nine-game (or even 10-game) conference schedule, and that’s expected to be the case, the Boilermakers’ non-con schedule for 2016 would be complete with this game.
Additionally, Nevada announced on its website it had finalized an agreement for a home-and-home with Toledo in 2017 and ’18.
