pole…yawn is right! lets see how the fatman does when he doesnt have Dennard going around end for six next year. i will give credit where its due and you just lost your only true weapon. all i am saying is its not good for the Big 10 when Mich is down and i dont see “big boy” as the long term answer.

Not overly impressed with D-Line play past 2 ys.

I’m open for new blood and passion and frankly want players and coaches dedicated to Michigan football. If his loyalty is elsewhere… best he go.

When will the B1G realize the importance of COMPETITIVELY compensating their assistant coaches? Over a dozen are poached each year by other conference and for lateral titles.

Mdac- My father and I have a theory about head coaches and assistants. For most HC, ten years is the point where you need to move to another job. They get complacent, lose that drive. For assistants, it can be as short as two or three years. Ofc, there are exceptions.

Brady Hoke and Greg Mattison are both DL coaches, probably wanted to get out of their shadow.

Charles Woodson spotted in Ann Arbor. That would be a nice addition to the coaching staff.

Seriously, due any of these guys stay at a job longer than 2 or 3 years? College sports is the only place where contracts mean absolutely nothing. Whether its a coach leaving a school or a school leaving a conference, the only people that ever seem to be held to their commitments are the student athletes.

Not that I overly care that Jerry Montgomery is leaving, D-line coaches are a dime a dozen these days, but when does it get past the point of ridiculous with all the movement?
