I can honestly say this has to be the worst hire for MSU and the best hire for the rest of the B1G. I’d ramble on about how f@#$ing horrible he was but palmbeachbuckeye slammed the nail firmly on the head with his/her description.

MSU better have a really good defense to make up for the lack of offense they will have with Bollman as their OC. Bollman’s play book consists of 3 plays. Run through the left line, try it again and then throw a long pass and hope for the best. I hate to say this Sparty, but MSU won’t be a contender in the B1G for a long time.

Dear MSU fans: You have my deepest sympathies. Bollman is a lazy coach who misused more talent than any coach in the history of Division 1 football. His offensive lines regressed each year, his offense was as predictable, and his personnel decisions were horrendous. Any coach who, after evaluations makes Joe Bauserman a starting QB over Braxton Miller or Kenny Guiton does not deserve to walk a sideline. Bollman is a guy who is very good at being a “yes sir” kind of guy but also has no creativity, emotion, or the ability to instill either in his players. Bollman took the job at Boston college, and BC was dead last in the Conference in offense and rushing and the Head Coach was fired…. Good luck Dantonio and East Lansing.

Purdue fans just breathed a collective sigh of relief. No matter who you hire, the offense will be more exciting, more unpredictable, and your offensive lineman have a chance at developing over their 4 years.

I guess I can cross off MSU as a threat to OSU for the next several years.
