APOf course he was, because it’s college and the offseason.
Per the Daily Camera, freshman Colorado defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu was ticketed by Boulder police last Friday for attempting to break into a fraternity party and then threatening to kill a security guard who wouldn’t let him in.
The security guard said Kafovalu was not on the list for the party and was not allowed in. He continued to try to force his way into the party and began shouting. At one point the guard said Kafovalu yelled out, “Don’t (expletive) do this (expletive), I’ll (expletive) kill you,” according to the report.
That’s when Kafovalu was pushed into a small brick wall, causing $300 in damage*. He later blew a .120 into a breathalizer test administered by police.
(*LOLWUT?)
He has been summoned on charges of threatening bodily injury, trespassing, consumption of alcohol by a minor and use of fighting words (yes, fighting words). A university spokesperson said the situation would be handled internally. In 2012, Kafovalu played in 10 games and recorded 20 tackles.
