APSome links from around college football on a Saturday…

- Arizona State’s mascot, Sparky, just became more kid-friendly and terrifying.
- Kevin Sumlin‘s new contract has a few more perks.
- If you’re not completely burned out on the Harlem Shake — if you even know what the Harlem Shake is — Nebraska football does its version HERE.
- How’s Nick Montana doing at Tulane? Coach Curtis Johnson explains.
- Some notes from Texas’ Saturday practice.
- Looks like Bronco Mendenhall is working on an extension with BYU.
It is good that Coach Johnson at Tulane is seeing something in Nick that I believe his father had in abundance. Coolness under pressure, fast delivery of the football, good footwork in the pocket, and leadership. It could be that in a few more years we may see another football dynasty to go along with the Mannings…the Montanas.
Coach Johnson has only been at Tulane a short tenure, but truly seems to be bringing Tulane back.
Burned out the latest version of the Harlem Shake. Saw an earlier version of this dance which saw some popularity long before the social media existed. I think I like that version better.
Joe’s son is at Tulane? Aww. I wish he had come our way. He likely will be a good one.
Bronco is not far from an extension, friends tell me.
