Legal gurus:
Are football players at a public university entitled to procedural due process before being given the boot?
If not, will this change if they are given a paycheck from the university (state employee)?

Of course football fans are generally little more than thugs themselves so they have no sympathy for anyone accused of wrong doing. If you study the evidence carefully there is absolutely nothing that should have even led to his dismissal. The only witness against him was the worse of the lot–Williams. This kid along with one other had absolutely no past criminal record of even a misdemeanor much less a felony. But that is the American Criminal Justice system for you.
