APIt’s that time of the year, again.
Speeaking to the media Monday, Illinois coach Tim Beckman said wide receiver Darius Millines has been suspended for violating team policy. What, exactly, Millines did to land in Beckman’s doghouse wasn’t elaborated on, but the coach did say he would re-evaluate his receiver’s status with the team in May.
Millines was already recovering from shoulder surgery, so his practice time this spring was likely going to be limited anyway.
As a junior, Millines was second on the team in 2012 with 319 receiving yards on 32 catches.
