Conference names with numbers in them should be banned. They just sounds silly when the number does not match the actual number of teams in the conference!

Why not call the conference the “N.S.E.W Americans”. Maybe united they will stand. They do have teams from all points.

While we are talking conference name changes……. Big 12 and Big 10 should put literacy ahead of tradition and do a name swap.
