Wrong. BC even when ND is losing, it's still ND and you all still care about them. Whether you hate them or love them.

Why would Notre Dame be embarrassed about Te'o ? I'm sure he is very embarrassed but that whole issue really has nothing to do with the University other than the fact that he went there. I bet you Brian Kelly and the rest of the football team aren't embarrassed in the least bit about that or about losing to Bama. What bowl game did your team go to? Hmm

Notre Dame will never be left out. Take that to the bank. Yeah! Cherry pick from ACC. Take North Carolina and NC state? They aren't getting Miami fsu or va tech.

Get your head out of the clouds. Big Ten has OSU and Michigan and that's about it. They'll continue to dominate the weak conference. Not saying Osu and Michigan arent good. They are. But you need morr than 2 teams in a conference. Urban even has been ripping the other B1G programs.

CrazyPhatdude

Brian Kelly "choked on the national stage"? Hmmm

His team got overpowered by THE BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY. You say your boy Bo has "taken NU from the depths that Callahan left the program in" yet talk as if Kelly hasn't done the same at Notre Dame, except he has actually made it to the NC (with a RS. Frosh at qb) unlike Bo. I wish ND was in the B1G. All but guarantees 9 wins every year playing your non conference sched and then your conference minus OSU and MAYBE Michigan.

And notre dame is always on the national stage. ALWAYS.

Let's go back two years ago when that A-hole cornerback of Nebraska started throwing punches at Alshon Jeffery. Who was that jack-weed and if he's not yet doing "time", he will be. Nothing but a "punk-thug"! I respect the fans of the Cornhuskers...as a youngster, they were one of my favorite teams...but the quality of the program has declined markedly over the years. Losing to Texas consistently would NOT have happend under Dr. Tom or Coach Devaney!

"If Kirk Ferentz can keep his job at Iowa, Pelini is(n't) going anywhere"...

Iowa and Nebraska are two different programs. If I were a Nebraska fan (I'm not / Ohio State alum) the Iowa / Ferentz scenario would not be the standard by which I judged the stability of the UofN coaching situation. In other words, the fact that Iowa is obviously satisfied with 7 win seasons and December bowl games should have nothing to do with the expectations of a storied and tradition laden program like Nebraska. I agree with some of what you say in your post, but I'm not sure Pelini is the guy to return Nebraska to its previous heights (if that's even possible now). He has been just successful enough, and Nebraska's expectations have fallen just enough, so that 9 win seasons and Capital One bowl games are now considered good enough to garner another three year contract bump. Frank Solich was fired with a VERY similar record, but the difference is the expectations at Nebraska have changed... at least that's what I got from your Kirk Ferentz / Bo Pelini comparison.

Please. We are talking about a coach who took a losing program and turned it into a 9-win bowl team in his first year. Does he have more to do? Of course. But, Nebraska Fans know (most of them) that he is a good coach and has taken the team out of the depths that Bill Callahan put us in. Who fires a coach who gives you minimum 9 wins a season and a bowl appearance? If Kirk Ferentz can keep his job at Iowa, Pelini is going anywhere. He's one of the highest paid coaches in the country and is doing his best to get Nebraska to a championship. It will happen. But people need to stop expecting immediate results. These things take time. Not many coaches join a program and immediately win championships. Chip Kelly couldn't do it. Not Lane Kiffin. Brady Hoke hasn't won anything yet. Brian Kelly just choked on the National stage. Nick Saban over signs recruits and doesn't care about academic standards so he can stack the deck. Nebraska, like the rest of the Big Ten, cares about those academic standards. Pelini is a better coach than most in the country. I like his fire. I like that he demands accountability from players. If the players love him, like they all claim they do, than who are we to judge if he is "abusive"? I've had coaches who yell, it gets your attention as a player. As long as he yells at everybody, nobody on the team cares. Just my thoughts. Go Big Red!

I will agree with the statement that Pelini is a clown.

He pretty much assaulted a cameraman at Kyle Field after A&M beat Nebraska a couple years ago.

I like NU and their fans, but they would do well to get rid of this guy. He's nothing more than an abusive prick.
